Dear SwimAmerica Parents,

This week is the start of the new session, Fall II. This session will run from Monday September 23, until Saturday October 26.  Then there will be one more session before we take a one week Thanksgiving break.

Below are the results from the SwimAmerica Meet on September 20.  Against all odds, the weather cooperated and we were able to complete all the events. A lot of the swimmers had quite significant drops in their times. But of course, at this level, the technique is still much more important than any times. Overall, the swimmers’ technique held up very well, even in racing mode.  

Please compare your child’s times to the times of your child from the previous meet. The swimmers’ ages range from 5-12 years old and they are in level 6-10.  Times in brackets are from the last meet. A big THANK YOU to all the volunteers. We would not be able to do these meets without you.

We would like to let you know that we created a new category, Swim Fit. Swim Fit is for those swimmers who pass level 10, but do not want to compete, or are too busy with other commitments to join the team at the moment.
